A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer answer the demands of your web site, or when you experience constant downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the technical support team to respond back to you, it may be a good idea to switch your web hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your websites along with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At QOOBIX Space, we understand that this can be hard and time–consuming. That is the reason why we will perform all that for you for free!Our skilled technical team reps will migrate your site content from your present provider to us. Our technicians have got lots of experience with web site migration and are able to handle anything – from a conventional WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™–driven web site, to an extremely complex, custom–built app.

A: There are many variables to take into account – the overall amount of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our website migration experts, etc. However, we do our very best to accomplish all website migrations in a 48–hour time window. Less sizeable sites are transferred faster – usually in less than 24 hours.

A: We will require the login information for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose precisely the same information you have given to your current hosting provider. We’ve also got a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how personal info is handled.

A: No. Your site will stay available online during the migration. As soon as everything is done on our end, we will let you know so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything is okay, all you will need to do is edit your domain name’s DNS records.

A: Nope. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the website migration either.

A: We support all Linux–based web hosting platforms. Generally, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
